Luego de una interrupción por causa de los huracanes Irma y María, regresa más fuerte que nunca el evento "Día de Internet en Puerto Rico" - https://internetdaypr.org

La semana del 29 de octubre al 2 de noviembre se convoca a las instituciones de educación en Puerto Rico para que promuevan eventos para concienzar a su comunidad sobre el Internet.

Como parte de las actividades la Sociedad de Internet Capítulo de Puerto Rico (ISOCPR, por sus siglas en inglés), la Universidad Interamericana - Recinto de Aguadilla (http://aguadilla.inter.edu/), el consorsio de universidades hispana 'Hispanic Educational Technology Services' (HETS, por sus siglas en inglés) - https://hets.org/, y el "Country Code Top Level Domain" de Puerto Rico - .PR (http://www.domains.pr/) se unen para realizar el tercer evento para reconocer el impacto de Internet en nuestra vida diaria.

Se invita a organizaciones educativas y sin fines de lucro, y escuelas públicas y privadas, para que participen de un concurso de vídeos relacionados con temas relacionados con el impacto de la Internet. Por ejemplo:

• educación
• salud
• transportación
• comunicaciones
• humanidad en general
• desastres naturales
• ciberseguridad
• privacidad
• comercio 

Se acerca la fecha límite para someter vídeos. Las reglas y procedimiento para enviarlos para participar se encuentra aquí.
